T-Shirt Dog Cape

DIY Bra Goose Diaper

Use a bra to make a diaper for your goose! Measure your goose. Draw the shape for the diaper on a piece of newspaper, cut out the shape, then use the paper template to cut the shape out of a piece of fabric and a waterproof liner. Sew the sides of the diaper area together, then sew an elastic band along the top edge of the back of the diaper area. Sew bra claps onto either of the side straps, and sew bra straps to the front edge of the diaper. Cut a button hole out of the diaper side straps, and sew a button on the base of the bra straps.

DIY Scooby Doo Collar Cover

Make a Scooby Doo collar that fits over your dog’s regular collar! Measure your dog’s collar. Cut a rectangle of teal fabric to the size needed. Cut a diamond shape from a piece of paper to make the dog tag, and decorate the tag with Scooby’s initials. Glue the paper onto a playing card, cut off the excess card, then coat the tag with Mod Podge. Poke a hole near the top of the collar, thread a string through the hole, poke a hole in the center of the fabric rectangle, and knot the string through the hole in the fabric. Sew the long edges of the rectangle together to make a fabric tube. Fit the fabric tube over your dog’s collar, and use Velcro fasteners to hold the ends of the collar cover together if needed.

Turn a grapevine ball into a suet feeder for your neighborhood birds! Get a grapevine ball and wrap it with plastic wrap. Cut a hole in the plastic wrap and scoop suet into the ball. Cover the hole with more plastic wrap, then put it in the refrigerator. Once the suet has hardened, remove the plastic wrap and hang the feeder from a tree branch.

DIY Tunnel Hammock Combo

Sew a tunnel and a hammock for your rats, and put them together to conserve space! Cut two matching rectangles of fabric for the tunnel and two matching squares for the hammock. Sew the edges of each set of fabrics together. Sew the long edges of the rectangle together to make the tunnel, then sew the top of the tunnel along the bottom of the middle of the hammock. Poke a hole in each corner of the hammock, attach lanyard clips through the holes, and hang the hammock in your pet’s cage.
